MODENAS has strengthened Kawasaki’s presence in the Malaysian market with the introduction of the all-new Ninja 1100SX, a sport-touring motorcycle designed to balance long-distance comfort with the sharp performance and styling associated with the Ninja name.

Built around a twin-tube aluminium frame, the Ninja 1100SX blends sporty handling with a more upright and relaxed riding posture, making it suitable for both spirited weekend rides and extended highway journeys. Kawasaki positions the model as a versatile option for riders who want performance without sacrificing everyday usability.

In Malaysia, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX carries a price tag of RM71,400, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. The price includes a two-year unlimited mileage warranty covering manufacturing defects.

At the heart of the Ninja 1100SX sits a 1,099cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine with DOHC configuration. The engine produces 134.1 hp at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. It delivers strong mid-range performance suitable for touring and overtaking duties. Power goes to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission. It is supported by a quickshifter as well as an Assist and Slipper clutch for smoother gear changes and improved control.

Kawasaki has equipped the Ninja 1100SX with a comprehensive suite of electronic rider aids. These include electronic cruise control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, traction control, an intelligent anti-lock braking system, selectable power modes and integrated riding modes to adapt the bike’s behaviour to different riding conditions.

Comfort and convenience receive equal attention. The motorcycle features full LED lighting, an adjustable windscreen for improved wind protection and a USB Type-C charging port mounted on the handlebar for added practicality on longer trips.

A 4.3-inch TFT-LCD screen displays all key riding information and connects to smartphones via Kawasaki’s Rideology app. The system supports voice commands, enabling riders to adjust settings, manage routes and access selected functions hands-free.

Upside-down Showa forks handle suspension at the front, while a fully adjustable rear monoshock provides adjustable rebound damping and remote preload adjustment. Dual 300 mm front discs with radial-mount four-piston callipers deliver braking performance, supported by a 260 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper.

Kawasaki offers the Ninja 1100SX locally in an Emerald Blazed Green/Metallic Diablo Black colour scheme. Interested buyers can view the model at Kawasaki All-Star dealerships nationwide.
