MDUA Motor Sdn Bhd has officially launched its latest entry-level scooter, the Moda Aero E, at the Six In The City event in Petaling Jaya. Priced at a wallet-friendly RM5,149 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), the Aero E enters Malaysia’s competitive budget scooter segment with a refreshing design and solid everyday usability. The model is offered in two striking colours: Cobalt Blue and Carmine Red.

Powering the Moda Aero E is a 118 cc single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine, producing 9.1 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9.5 Nm of torque. Paired with an automatic CVT gearbox and belt drive, the lightweight 110 kg scooter promises easy handling for riders of all experience levels.

Fuel capacity is rated at 5.5 litres, while a 6.5-litre under-seat storage compartment offers enough space for daily essentials and a KYT open face helmet. Its 780 mm seat height and step-through frame design, friendly for riders even in long skirts.

Rolling on 14-inch wheels front and rear, the Aero E is fitted with 90/90 (front) and 100/90 (rear) tyres. Braking performance is delivered through a front hydraulic disc brake and a rear mechanical drum brake. Suspension comes in the form of telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock.

As for convenience, the scooter features LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED signal lamps, and an LED tail light. Riders also get USB-A and USB-C charging ports up front, while riding data is displayed on a clear LCD instrument panel.

Designed with young and active urban riders in mind, the Moda Aero E offers a modern silhouette with smooth curves, bold colour choices, and practical features that fit today’s commuting lifestyle. With its attractive pricing and well-rounded package, the Aero E is set to appeal to students, first-time riders, and anyone seeking an affordable yet stylish mobility option.
