Verge Motorcycles has taken the wraps off the next iteration of its TS Pro electric motorcycle at EICMA, showcasing a major leap in its signature tech, the new Donut Motor 2.0.

The Finnish brand’s TS Pro has been its flagship and best-selling model, and with this update, Verge is doubling down on its core identity: futuristic design, radical engineering, and a user experience that stays ahead of the curve.

Donut Motor 2.0 – lighter, cleaner, still insane torque

The TS Pro’s iconic in-wheel electric motor, which leaves the rear wheel centre visually “empty”, has now undergone its first major evolution. Donut Motor 2.0 maintains the same 102 kW output and up to 1,000 Nm of instant torque, but is now 50% lighter.

That weight cut translates into:

  • lower unsprung mass
  • better efficiency
  • improved stability and control
  • a full bike weight drop to 230 kg (previously 245 kg)

And it carries a new patent to match the new architecture.

Upgraded energy storage + charging

The battery now carries 20.2 kWh of usable capacity with up to 350 km of range. DC fast-charging remains extremely quick — less than 35 minutes for a full charge — or about 15 minutes to add 100 km. In Europe, riders will charge using CCS; North American models get NACS.

Refinements from real riders

Verge says many of the new improvements directly reflect rider feedback:

  • retuned chassis setup
  • new seat angle for improved long-ride comfort
  • new UX/UI with bigger displays, clearer info, and more ride data
  • better connectivit,y including integrated Bluetooth

Availability + pricing

The new TS Pro is already live for purchase online and at Verge showrooms in Germany and the UK. In the U.S., pre-orders are open now with test rides slated for early 2026.

Pricing confirms its premium EV position:

  • From €36,581 (≈ RM182,900) in Germany
  • Global website lists €29,900 (≈ RM149,500) excluding taxes/fees

With a lighter motor, more range, better ride comfort, and smarter rider tech, Verge is signalling that the rim-motor architecture isn’t a novelty, it’s a foundational tech platform they plan to aggressively evolve.

The TS Pro 2.0 is the proof.
