SYM Malaysia has introduced the 2025 SYM Cruisym 400i, officially entering the maxi-scooter segment with a price tag of RM27,888 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration). Buyers can choose from three colour options; Space Grey, Dark Night Purple, and Dreamy White, with each unit backed by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.

Powering the Cruisym 400i is a liquid-cooled, 399 cc single-cylinder engine delivering 33.5 hp at 6,750 rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Equipped with EFI, power is transferred to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox with belt drive, ensuring smooth and effortless performance for daily commutes and long-distance rides alike.

For handling, the maxi-scooter comes with telescopic front forks offering 120 mm of travel, while the rear suspension features 108 mm of travel with preload adjustment. Safety is further enhanced with Bosch dual-channel ABS and traction control, paired with a 288 mm front and 275 mm rear hydraulic disc setup.

Rolling on 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels, shod with 120/70 and 160/60 tyres respectively, the Cruisym 400i weighs 222 kg dry and carries fuel in a 14.5-litre tank. A 785 mm seat height and 140 mm ground clearance.

Tech and comfort are highlights of the Cruisym 400i. The scooter comes standard with a TFT display, smart key system, and multiple charging ports; Type-C (QC 3.0), Type-A, and a 12V socket. LED lighting is fitted throughout, while the underseat compartment accommodates both a full-face and an open-face helmet.

Additional features include front and rear dash cams, a manually adjustable windscreen, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a double seat with backrest. With its blend of power, comfort, and high-tech features, the SYM Cruisym 400i positions itself as a serious contender in Malaysia’s growing maxi-scooter segment.
