Mandalika, Indonesia – The Ducati Lenovo Team has officially claimed the Teams’ World Championship title following the eighteenth Sprint race of the 2025 MotoGP season at the Mandalika Circuit, securing Ducati’s third consecutive Triple Crown that consists of the Rider, Constructor, and Team titles.

It was a challenging Saturday for the factory riders. Marc Márquez, starting from ninth, was handed a long-lap penalty after early contact with Álex Rins but fought his way back to finish sixth. Francesco Bagnaia, starting from sixteenth, struggled throughout the 13-lap Sprint and crossed the line in fourteenth place.

Marc Márquez (#93) – “The circuit layout doesn’t have hard braking points, which is one of our strongest aspects, and the unusual grip is preventing us from fully exploiting the Ducati’s power. We need to keep working and aim for a top five to seven.”

Despite his penalty, Márquez showed solid pace and consistency, clawing back multiple positions in the second half of the race.

Bagnaia, however, endured a tough outing, citing a lack of confidence and grip similar to issues he faced at Misano.

Francesco Bagnaia (#63) – “Unfortunately, the feeling is not the same as Motegi. I struggled again with the bike, both on the straight and under braking. The only thing I could do was bring it home.”

With the Sprint complete and Ducati sealing the Teams’ World Championship, the Italian manufacturer has now officially locked in the Triple Crown for the 2025 MotoGP season and once again demonstrating the strength of its riders, engineering, and overall racing programme.
