Norton Motorcycles is accelerating its comeback with a major refit of its Solihull headquarters. The historic British brand is preparing for the start of production on a completely new flagship line later this year.
Backed by its parent company, TVS Motor Company, Norton has already invested over £200 million in the facility. This solidifies its position as a global centre of excellence for motorcycle design, engineering, and production. The investment reflects TVS’s long-term commitment to Norton’s growth and to keeping high-end motorcycle manufacturing firmly rooted in the UK.
A New Era for British Engineering
The Solihull site is undergoing significant upgrades to accommodate the next generation of Norton motorcycles. The workforce has already grown by 25% since the start of 2025. Plus, the company is preparing to unveil a range of all-new models later this year. The first public reveal of these bikes, including an all-new flagship, will take place at the EICMA international motorcycle exhibition in Milan on November 4, 2025.
Boosting UK Manufacturing
The expansion strengthens the West Midlands’ reputation as a motorcycle powerhouse, creating new jobs, enhancing skills, and supporting UK suppliers. By anchoring production of its premium machines in Solihull, Norton is positioning Britain as a key player in the global market for high-performance motorcycles.
With the promise of an all-new flagship and a revitalised production facility, Norton Motorcycles is not just reviving its storied past, it is building a bold future for British motorcycling on the world stage.
