Following the introductions of the Sporter S and Shifter 400X, MDua Motor Sdn Bhd, under AFY Mobility Industries (AMI), has expanded its Moda lineup with the launch of the new Moda Moca scooter. Priced at RM3,988 (excluding insurance), the Moca comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty and is available in three colour options: orange, green, blue and black.

The Moca is powered by a 108 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke SOHC engine with fuel injection and air cooling, producing 8.0 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheel via a CVT automatic transmission.

Moda Moca

For handling, the scooter rides on 10-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres (front 3.0/10, rear 3.5/10), supported by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is managed by a front disc brake and rear drum setup, without ABS.

Weighing just 89 kg with a seat height of 738 mm, the Moca is designed for easy manoeuvrability in urban environments. Convenience features include under-seat storage, luggage hooks, a rear cargo rack, ample legroom, and an electric starter. The fuel tank holds 4.8 litres.

Moda Moca

Styling-wise, the Moca combines classic scooter looks with modern touches. Round headlamps and taillights give it a retro appeal, while a digital meter panel adds contemporary functionality, displaying fuel level, speed, hours, and rpm. Also included are hazard light switches.

With its blend of affordability, practicality, and retro-modern design, the Moda Moca is set to appeal to daily commuters and young riders seeking an entry-level scooter.
