Bezzecchi, Martín, and Savadori ready for action as Aprilia Racing unveils a limited-edition machine to celebrate 10 years of RS-GP in MotoGP.

Aprilia Racing is all set for the fifteenth round of the MotoGP season at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, returning with a complete line-up that includes Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martín, and Lorenzo Savadori in a wild-card entry.
The Barcelona track holds a special place in Aprilia’s racing history, with standout results in recent years, most memorably, the historic double victory in 2023.
But this weekend won’t just be about racing. On Friday, 5 September at 9pm, Aprilia will present the new “X”, an exclusive limited-edition bike to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the RS-GP’s debut in MotoGP. The unveiling will take place in the paddock, adding extra excitement to an already electric Grand Prix weekend.

Bezzecchi arrives in Barcelona in strong form after securing his seventh podium of the season with a third-place finish at Balaton Park. The Italian also claimed victory earlier this year at Silverstone, underlining his growing connection with the RS-GP25. Martín continued his adaptation phase, showing impressive grit in Hungary by climbing 12 positions to finish fourth in the long race. Meanwhile, Savadori takes to the track for his first wild-card outing of the season, with a focus on further development of the RS-GP25.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a 4.66 km layout with 8 right-hand and 6 left-hand corners. Known as a technical circuit, its most demanding point is the heavy braking into Turn 1, coming at the end of a 1,047-metre straight – one of MotoGP’s toughest braking zones.
Marco Bezzecchi: “I am extremely happy to be going to Barcelona; it’s a track that I really like a lot. The atmosphere is incredible with fans filling the stands, and that gives me even more energy. Above all, I just really want to get back on the bike. As always, we’ll give our best. Let’s go, Aprilia!”

Jorge Martín: “I can’t wait to get to Barcelona. I have many fond memories from last year. This is a track that I really like, where I have always done well. I’m starting to feel more comfortable on the bike, and I think this will be an important race to keep building confidence and growing step by step.”
Lorenzo Savadori: “Barcelona is a track where we’ve always done well in the past. During the recent tests in Montmeló, we worked on some interesting solutions that we’ll bring into this weekend. I’m excited to keep developing the bike and can’t wait to hit the track on Friday.”
