Toprak Razgatlioglu delivered a weekend of pure dominance at Donington Park, securing a commanding hat-trick of victories for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team and taking control of the 2025 World Superbike Championship standings.
The reigning champion capped off a flawless round by winning Sunday’s feature race, his third triumph of the weekend after Saturday’s opening race and Sunday’s Superpole sprint. The Turkish rider now leads the championship by four points over title rival Nicolò Bulega, who finished second in both the sprint and the main race.
“Before I came here, my biggest target was the hat-trick,” Razgatlioglu said. “I love this track, and I’m really enjoying riding here. Breaking the record with 12 wins at Donington makes it even more special.”

His Superpole win on Sunday morning also marked BMW Motorrad Motorsport’s 100th podium in WorldSBK, adding extra significance to the dominant display. With seven rounds down and five to go, Razgatlioglu now stands atop the championship standings as the grid prepares for the debut of Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary later this month (July 25–27).
Meanwhile, teammate Michael van der Mark endured a tough outing, finishing 13th in Race 1 before retiring from both of Sunday’s races due to technical setbacks.
Álvaro Bautista rounded out the Race 2 podium ahead of Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Locatelli, while Northern Ireland’s Jonathan Rea, who showed promise with a fifth-place finish on Saturday, struggled to 15th in the final race.
As Razgatlioglu extends his legacy with a record 12 wins at Donington, the focus will shift to Hungary, where the BMW rider hopes to continue his title charge on unfamiliar ground. The two-time WorldSBK champion is also set to make the leap to MotoGP with Yamaha in 2026, but for now, the focus remains on defending his crown in style.
