MotoGP has released a 22-round calendar for its 2026 campaign with the Brazilian Grand Prix replacing Argentina in early March.
The 2026 campaign will kick off once again in Buriram, Thailand, from 27 February to 1 March, continuing its role as the season opener until at least 2027.
One of the biggest shake-ups comes in the second round, where the Brazilian Grand Prix makes its long-awaited return to the series after 22 years. Scheduled for 20-22 March, the event will take place at the Ayrton Senna Autodrome in Goiania, filling the gap left by Argentina’s departure from the calendar.
The season continues immediately with a back-to-back double-header in the Americas, as the paddock moves to Austin, Texas, for the United States Grand Prix on 27-29 March. The Middle East follows shortly after with the Qatar Grand Prix on 10-12 April.
Europe’s leg begins with the Hungarian Grand Prix at Balaton Park, now rescheduled to 5-7 June after its successful debut. The British Grand Prix, meanwhile, shifts to an August date following underwhelming attendance in late May this year.
Despite previous uncertainties, the Aragon Grand Prix remains part of the calendar and will run as a standalone event from 28-30 August.
MotoGP’s European summer continues with a final double-header featuring Misano and the Austrian Grand Prix. Notably, Austria’s Red Bull Ring round is moved from August to 18-20 September.
The championship will then head to Asia for a series of double-headers, starting with Japan and Indonesia, followed by Australia and Malaysia.
As in 2025, the season will wrap up in Europe, with Portimao and Valencia serving as the final two rounds. The grand finale at Valencia is set for 20-22 November.
To mark the beginning of a new era, the first pre-season test for the 2027 regulations will be held on 24 November in Valencia, just days after the season concludes.
