The FIM Motocross World Championship resumed this weekend with Round 14 at the iconic Loket circuit, kicking off the final European leg of the 2025 calendar. The MXGP of the Czech Republic marked a pivotal return for riders and teams as the championship enters its closing phase before heading to Turkey, China, and Australia.
Representing the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Factory MX Team, Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini delivered encouraging performances aboard the Desmo450 MX, navigating the rugged terrain and steep hills of Loket with renewed pace and determination.

Race One: Seewer Battles to Eighth, Guadagnini Fights Back After Crash
Following a muddy and unpredictable qualifying session on Saturday that saw Seewer finish eighth and Guadagnini retire, both riders returned to the gate with something to prove.
Seewer got a strong start in Race 1, quickly locking into sixth and running a competitive pace just behind the top five. His charge was disrupted midway through the race when a mechanical stall after a jump cost him valuable time and positions. He recovered to finish eighth, still showing glimpses of podium-worthy speed.
Guadagnini, despite an unfavourable gate pick, broke into the top ten early on and held ninth until a collision with another rider sent him to the ground. He bravely remounted and salvaged 17th, demonstrating resilience in challenging conditions.
Race Two: Consistency and Grit Reward Ducati Duo
In Race 2, Seewer once again launched well from the gate, settling into seventh by the first turn. The Swiss rider displayed smooth, confident riding throughout and crossed the line in sixth, equalling his best moto finish of the weekend.
Guadagnini faced a more difficult start, buried outside the top 15, but launched a determined comeback. With a steady pace and aggressive overtakes, he climbed through the field to finish a commendable 11th, narrowly missing the top ten.

Weekend Summary: Steady Progress and Top-Ten Finish for Seewer
With sixth overall, Seewer secured his third-best result of the season, gaining two positions in the championship standings to move up to eighth overall. Guadagnini, meanwhile, continues to recover from injury and holds 14th in the standings.
Jeremy Seewer
“This weekend we made a positive step forward. The setup changes worked well, and I finally felt more like myself on the bike. A small engine stall in Race 1 cost me a better finish, but overall, it was a strong GP and something to build on.”
Mattia Guadagnini
“I’m satisfied with the step forward we made. Race 1 was frustrating after the crash, but I had good pace in both motos. I still need to improve my starts and build fitness, but we’re going in the right direction.”
Next Stop: Lommel Sand Challenge
The MXGP paddock now heads straight to the legendary deep sands of Lommel for the MXGP of Flanders, scheduled in just under a week. With clear signs of improvement and the Desmo450 MX showing competitive form, Ducati’s MXGP campaign gains momentum heading into the final stretch.
