The 2025 Aragón Grand Prix wasn’t just another race—it was a statement. A statement that Marc Márquez is back at his devastating best, that Ducati is in a league of its own, and that MotorLand is still very much Márquez territory.
Topping every session of the weekend, from free practice to race day, Marc didn’t just win—he owned Aragón. The last time anyone swept an entire GP weekend like this? Marc Márquez in 2015. Different bike, same ruthless edge.
Márquez Makes It Look Easy
From the moment the lights went out, the #93 Desmosedici GP was untouchable. Márquez launched off pole with clinical precision, set a blistering race pace in the middle stint, and became the first rider to drop into the 1:46s during a race at Aragón. It was a masterclass in timing, tyre management, and sheer control.
“Today I could ride the way I wanted—push when I wanted, hold pace when needed,” said Márquez post-race. “We needed a weekend like this. It feels like the old rhythm is finally back.”

All-Ducati Podium at Aragón: Alex and Pecco Deliver
While Marc ran off with the headlines, brother Alex Márquez made sure it was a family celebration, bringing home a sensational second for Gresini Racing. The brothers now sit 1-2 in the championship standings, separated by 32 points.
Behind them, Francesco Bagnaia reminded everyone why he’s still a major force. After three frustrating weekends, Pecco bounced back with a smart, gritty ride to third. A small setup tweak in warm-up transformed his race, giving him the braking confidence he’s been chasing.
“This podium is for the whole team,” Pecco said. “We kept working despite all the setbacks. Today, it finally came together.”

Ducati’s Title Charge Strengthens
The Aragón result cemented Ducati’s dominance—not just on the track, but in the standings. The Ducati Lenovo Team leads the teams’ classification, the brand tops the manufacturers’ championship, and the riders are staking their claim one round at a time.
General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna summed it up best: “This is one of the best Sundays I’ve lived. Marc dominated, Pecco showed resilience—it’s everything we work for. Now we focus on Mugello and Assen.”
With Mugello up next, a track where both Ducati and Bagnaia shine, the momentum is all red. And if Marc Márquez keeps riding like this? The rest of the grid better brace for more fireworks.
