Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (MODENAS), has officially launched two new high-performance motorcycles for the Malaysian market, the 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 and Ninja 1100SX SE. The introduction of these models was held in conjunction with the grand opening of the brand-new Kawasaki Serdang 4S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Showroom) Centre, marking a significant milestone in Kawasaki’s expansion strategy and customer service offering in Malaysia.

According to En. Roslan Roskan, Chief Executive Officer of MODENAS, the launch of these models reflects the company’s continued commitment to deliver premium motorcycles tailored to various rider preferences. The collaboration with Kawasaki Motors Ltd. has resulted in models that blend advanced technology, performance, and comfort. The opening of the Serdang 4S Centre, the largest of its kind in Malaysia, is positioned as a key community hub and lifestyle destination for Kawasaki enthusiasts.

The 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 is a major evolution in the adventure-touring category. It is offered in three variants – Standard, S, and SE – and features a newly upgraded 1,099cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 133 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm.

The Versys 1100 is equipped with long-travel suspension, an upright riding position, an adjustable windshield, and a 21-liter fuel tank for extended range. It also comes with a Clean-Mount Pannier System capable of supporting a 220 kg payload, cruise control, and a USB Type-C outlet on the handlebar.

Advanced electronics such as an IMU-enhanced suite with traction control, cornering ABS, and integrated ride modes enhance safety and performance. The SE variant further benefits from Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) with Showa’s Skyhook technology and LED cornering lights.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX SE aims to redefine sport touring. Offered in Standard and SE variants, it shares the same powerful 1,099cc engine, delivering 134 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque.

The new displacement boosts the bike’s low to mid-range pulling power while maintaining strong high-rpm capabilities. The Ninja 1100SX blends high-speed performance with ergonomic comfort, featuring a rigid aluminum frame, sporty suspension components, a relaxed riding posture, and a 19-liter fuel tank for longer rides.

It is also equipped with an upgraded Kawasaki Quick Shifter, cruise control, and an adjustable windscreen with full-fairing bodywork for excellent wind protection. The SE model includes Öhlins S46 rear suspension and high-performance Brembo brake components, offering an even more refined and responsive ride.

Both models come with an advanced electronics package supported by IMU-based systems, giving riders access to multiple riding modes, traction control, and enhanced braking systems.

With the debut of these two 2025 models and the opening of the Kawasaki Serdang 4S Centre, MODENAS is reinforcing its position as a leading player in the premium motorcycle segment while deepening its commitment to the Malaysian riding community. These motorcycles are now available at authorized Kawasaki Big Bike dealerships nationwide.
