Making their first appearance at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, Royal Enfield has introduced two fresh contenders to its middleweight motorcycle range, the Bear 650 and the Classic 650. Built to suit riders of all levels, both models deliver a compelling mix of performance, style, and versatility.

The new Royal Enfield Bear 650 brings bold scrambler styling and go-anywhere capability. Crafted for riders who follow their instincts and stand apart, the Bear 650 represents more than just mobility, it’s an expression of freedom and individuality.

With its rugged design, dependable engineering, and adaptable performance, the Bear 650 sets out to redefine the scrambler category, encouraging riders to carve their own path with every journey. Pricing begins at RM34,500, with four variants offered for the Bear 650 and three colour options available for the Classic 650.

Rugged and Ready: The Bear 650

Designed with scrambler-inspired styling, the Bear 650 comes in Petrol Green, Wild Honey, and Golden Shadow colourways priced at RM35,700, while the special-edition Bear 650 Two Four Nine with unique paintwork is tagged at RM36,000.

At its core, the Bear 650 runs on Royal Enfield’s 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 47 hp at 7,250 rpm and 56.5 Nm at 5,150 rpm. The bike also comes with a 2-into-1 exhaust system that reinforces the scrambler aesthetic.

Built for mixed terrain, the Bear 650 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, wrapped in 100/90 and 140/80 tyres, respectively. Braking duties are handled by single hydraulic discs front and rear with switchable two-channel ABS to allow rear-wheel slip when off-roading.

Weighing in at 214 kg, the Bear 650 is equipped with a 13.7-litre fuel tank and a 4-inch round TFT display, offering smartphone connectivity, Google Maps-powered navigation, and media controls.

Timeless Heritage: The Classic 650

Apart from the Bear 650, the Classic 650 carries forward Royal Enfield’s vintage DNA, bringing post-war design cues into the modern era. Offered in Bruntingthorpe Blue and Vallam Red at RM34,500, and Black Chrome at RM35,500, the Classic 650 retains the hallmark styling of the original 1948 Royal Enfield Classic, including the double loop frame, teardrop tank, round headlamp, and deeply valanced fenders.

Both models reflect Royal Enfield’s commitment to blending nostalgic styling with today’s rider expectations, cementing the brand’s presence in Malaysia’s growing mid-capacity motorcycle market.
