CFMoto Malaysia has unveiled the 2025 CFMoto 800MT-X, its latest entry in the adventure touring segment, at an exclusive launch held at Men Huat Motors Sdn. Bhd. Priced competitively at RM48,888.00 (excluding insurance and road tax), the new model is available in two striking colours, Zephyr Blue and Nebula Black, designed to turn heads on any terrain.

The 800MT-X is powered by a robust 799cc liquid-cooled, inline twin-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine that delivers 94 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 87Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, making it ideal for both high-speed highway cruising and rough trail navigation. The engine setup includes a compression ratio of 12.8:1 with a bore and stroke of 88mm x 65.7mm, complemented by EFI fuel injection, T.C.I ignition, electric start, and a pressure splash lubrication system. It pairs with a 6-speed gearbox, wet multi-plate sliding clutch, and chain drive for responsive and reliable power delivery.

Suspension duties are handled by adjustable upside-down telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. The bike rides on CST dual-purpose tyres, 90/90-21 at the front and 150/70-R18 at the rear, ensuring grip and control across varied surfaces. Braking is managed by J.Juan dual disc brakes with ABS at the front and a single disc with switchable ABS at the rear, offering powerful stopping force with rider-adjustable safety.

CFMoto 800MT-X

The 800MT-X features a suite of rider aids, including switchable Traction Control System (TCS) and a Quickshifter for smooth, clutchless gear changes. Riders can toggle between Standard, Rain, and Off-road riding modes to adapt performance to weather and road conditions. Other premium tech includes cruise control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a Side Stand Safety Switch that automatically kills the engine if a gear is engaged while the side stand is down.

A vertically mounted 7-inch TFT display provides real-time ride data with clarity, while USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports support on-the-go connectivity. The bike operates with a mechanical key and features an electronic throttle for precision control. Comfort is also prioritised with integrated handguards and a manually adjustable windshield to deflect wind and debris.

Adventure-ready storage is standard, with dual 35L side boxes and a 45L top box to carry travel gear with ease. With a 22.5-litre fuel tank, 220kg curb weight, 830mm seat height and a wheelbase of 1,530mm, the CFMoto 800MT-X strikes a balance between rugged durability and long-distance comfort.

Buyers of the CFMoto 800MT-X will receive a two-year warranty with unlimited mileage and access to genuine spare parts via CFMoto Malaysia’s official online platform, underscoring the brand’s commitment to service and reliability for serious adventurers.
