Alongside the new CB1000 SP Hornet, Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. has officially launched the 2025 Honda Gold Wing for the Malaysian market at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025. Honda’s iconic grand touring motorcycle now carries a retail price of RM222,888, up RM10,000 from the previous model, with pricing exclusive of road tax, insurance, and registration.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the 2025 Honda Gold Wing Tour features commemorative detailing, including a special edition badge bearing the “50th Anniversary since 1975” emblem. Available in two premium colour options — Eternal Gold and Bordeaux Red Metallic — the latest Gold Wing maintains its position as Honda’s flagship luxury tourer.
At the heart of the new Gold Wing Tour lies an 1833cc liquid-cooled, SOHC flat-six engine, producing 124.7 hp at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) featuring a reverse gear and linked to a shaft final drive. The bike rides on an 18-inch front wheel with a 130/70 tyre and a 16-inch rear wheel wrapped in a 200/55 tyre.

Advanced suspension tech includes a double-wishbone front fork and a rear monoshock, both electronically controlled. The system minimises brake dive and allows rear preload adjustment independent of ride modes, offering enhanced ride quality and load adaptability.
As expected of a luxury tourer, the Gold Wing is packed with premium features. It includes Honda’s Motorcycle Airbag System, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Bluetooth connectivity, and a refined audio system with new 55-watt high-output speakers and updated equaliser settings.
Riders also benefit from a fully adjustable electric windscreen, a smart key system for remote locking and unlocking, and generous 121-litre luggage capacity. Comfort for both rider and pillion is improved with new suede-effect and synthetic leather upholstery.

Safety features include the Dual Combined Brake System (D-CBS), which balances braking forces between the wheels, assisted by ABS and an ECU. The braking setup comprises twin front discs with six-piston callipers and a single rear disc with a three-piston calliper.
Additional conveniences include four selectable ride modes, cruise control, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and Hill Start Assist (HSA). Weighing in at 391 kg, the Gold Wing carries a 20-litre fuel tank and features a manageable seat height of 745 mm.
With its powerful performance, comfort-focused features, and anniversary-specific design, the 2025 Honda Gold Wing reaffirms its status as the gold standard for long-distance touring motorcycles in Malaysia.
