Malaysian riders are in for an exciting mid-2025 as Cyclone, a brand under MForce Bike Holdings, prepares to introduce four new motorcycle models to the local market. The upcoming lineup includes the Cyclone RX650, Cyclone RA600, Cyclone RE600, and the Cyclone RT3E retro scooter.

MForce has not finalised the exact pricing for the new models, but we can expect the RX650 to launch in May 2025 at around RM30,000. Interestingly, Malaysian motorcyclists might recognize the Cyclone brand under its previous name, KTNS. Asri Ahmad, Operations General Manager of MForce Bike Holdings, confirmed that MForce will officially market the bikes under the Cyclone name moving forward.

Cyclone RX650 – Middleweight Adventure Powerhouse

Leading the charge is the RX650, a middleweight adventure-tourer equipped with a liquid-cooled 650 cc parallel-twin engine. The RX650 is able to deliver an impressive 70 hp at 8,500 rpm and 62 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It also comes with a six-speed gearbox featuring a quickshifter and a chain final drive.

Built for adventure, the RX650 comes with a robust suspension setup. It features upside-down telescopic front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by twin front hydraulic discs and a single rear disc. All are supported by two-channel cornering ABS as standard.

Packed with Features for the Modern Rider

Cyclone isn’t holding back on the RX650’s feature list. Riders can expect:

  • Full LED lighting
  • Cruise control
  • Blind-spot detection radar
  • Front and rear ride-recording cameras
  • Adjustable windshield
  • Full-colour TFT-LCD display

The RX650 weighs in at 245 kg and boasts a 20-litre fuel tank, promising long-distance touring capabilities. The seat height is 820 mm, balancing comfort for a wide range of riders.

More to Come

Besides the RX650, the RA600, RE600, and RT3E retro scooter are also slated for release. We can expect more details, including pricing and full specifications for these models, closer to the launch date.

As Cyclone officially enters the Malaysian market under its new branding, riders can look forward to a fresh wave of value-packed motorcycles aimed at adventure, style, and performance enthusiasts alike.

Stay tuned for more updates as MForce gears up for a thrilling mid-2025!
