The Malaysian two-wheeler market has welcomed a new contender with the arrival of the Ariic 318 GT, brought in by MForce Bike Holding Sdn Bhd. This marks the Chinese brand’s first foray into the Malaysian market, introducing a fully equipped maxi scooter that promises to shake up the competitive mid-size segment. The 330cc model comes packed with premium features that challenge established players in its class.

Under the sleek bodywork lies a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 330cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 28 horsepower and 30.8Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission. The scooter comes with a 16-litre fuel tank, ensuring long-distance capability, making it equally suitable for daily commutes and weekend getaways.

Riders will appreciate the balanced handling thanks to its 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels wrapped in CST tires, complemented by telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable twin rear shocks.

Practicality takes centre stage with the 318 GT’s clever storage solutions, including under-seat space for two full-face helmets and additional front storage compartments. Despite its 208 kg wet weight, the scooter remains manageable while offering modern conveniences like USB-C and USB-A charging ports, a tire pressure monitoring system, and even a built-in front video recorder for added security.

Available in three sophisticated colour options – Matte Grey, Dark Grey, and Matte Black – the Ariic 318 GT enters the market at an attractive price point of RM22,888 (excluding insurance). Buyers can enjoy peace of mind with a comprehensive two-year unlimited mileage warranty, supported by easy access to genuine spare parts through MForce Bike Holdings’ online platform.

The 318 GT arrives at a time when Malaysian riders have more choices than ever in the maxi scooter segment, going head-to-head with established models like the Aveta Vanguard 250, Moda Sporter S, and Zontes 368G.

With its combination of performance, practicality, and premium features at a competitive price, the Ariic 318 GT is poised to make a strong impression on Malaysia’s scooter enthusiasts.
