Back in 2020, two giants of European performance—Italy’s MV Agusta and France’s Alpine—came together to create a masterpiece that blurred the lines between motorcycle engineering and automotive artistry. The result? The MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine 800, a limited edition sportbike that embodied the best of both brands. Only 110 units were ever made.

Now, one of those rare machines—unit 016—is up for sale.

More Than Just a Pretty Face

The Superveloce Alpine 800 wasn’t designed just to look good (though it certainly does). It houses the same 798cc inline three-cylinder engine found in the F3 800, delivering a staggering 147 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. That’s high-revving, high-performance riding, baked into a visually stunning package.

It also came with cutting-edge tech: a 6-axis IMU, launch control, and Bluetooth connectivity. Many of which we can later see in other MV Agusta models like the Brutale and Dragster.

Design Inspired by Rally Royalty

Each of the 110 units features a metallic Alpine blue livery, a tribute to Alpine’s legendary rally heritage. We can see the subtle Alpine “A” logo on both the tank and the seat. A numbered plaque on the upper triple clamp cements its identity.

Other premium touches include:

  • Carbon fiber components
  • A custom reprogrammed ECU
  • A stunning three-outlet Arrow exhaust system, included as part of a special edition kit

It’s not just a motorcycle—it’s a design statement on wheels.

Unit 016: Practically Brand New

The unit currently for sale—#016 of 110—was registered in the UK in August 2021 and has only 50 miles (80 km) on the odometer. It’s essentially showroom fresh.

The sale includes the signature MV Crate, which comes with:

  • All original parts
  • Maintenance book
  • Two keys
  • Competition exhaust system

It’s a collector’s dream, wrapped in performance and prestige.

For Sale at The Bike Specialists, Sheffield

This rare machine is being offered by The Bike Specialists, a dealership renowned for its curated selection of high-end and collectible motorcycles. They’ve built a reputation for sourcing models that combine exclusivity with performance—and the Superveloce Alpine 800 fits that bill perfectly.

Final Thoughts

In a world where most bikes blend into the background, the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine 800 stands apart. It’s rare, beautiful and fast. Unit #016 could be yours.

Whether it’s the performance, its design, or its sheer exclusivity, this is one of those machines that doesn’t just sit in a garage. It makes a statement every time you look at it.
