Ducati has launched the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia. This stunning special edition motorcycle celebrates the colours of Italy’s national sports teams and honours Francesco Bagnaia’s dramatic victory at the 2024 Mugello Grand Prix. Limited to just 163 units, this exclusive model pays homage to Bagnaia’s historic win and Ducati’s racing heritage, blending Italian pride with sleek MotoGP technology.

The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is inspired by the ‘Azzurro’ colour scheme of Lenovo’s Ducati machine from last year’s Italian GP, where Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini made history by finishing first and second. Bagnaia’s victory, achieved with a last-corner overtaking manoeuvre, was one of 11 wins in his most successful season to date. Although he fell short of defending his MotoGP title, Bagnaia’s performance cemented his status as one of the sport’s elite riders.

Unveiled at the Italian Ministry of Industry and Manufacturing, this special edition Panigale is based on the 2025 Panigale V4 model, which traces its engine roots back to the 2015 Desmosedici. The bike will also make its debut in this year’s Superstock class World Endurance Championship, showcasing its versatility and performance.

Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia

The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is packed with exclusive components and advanced features, making it a true collector’s item. Highlights include:

  • Carbon fibre rims for reduced weight and enhanced performance.
  • A dry clutch for a more responsive and race-ready feel.
  • A racing brake system with 338.5mm Brembo GP4 Sport Production callipers, a first for a production motorcycle.
  • The Front Brake Pro+ system features finned Brembo T-Drive discs and MCS 19.21 brake pumps with remote lever adjustment, derived from Ducati’s MotoGP and Superbike racing technology.

Additional features include adjustable aluminium footpegs, a GPS module, and a range of track-ready accessories such as a racing tank cap, brake calliper conveyors, and an open clutch cover in carbon fibre. Each bike also comes with an Alcantara saddle, a racing plexiglass, and a dedicated dashboard animation at startup.

Truly a collector’s dream, as this Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is a unique piece of art, featuring Bagnaia’s original signature on the tank and delivered in an exclusive personalized wooden crate. The bike’s steering plate is machined from solid aluminium, displaying the model name, unit number, a profile of the Mugello circuit, and an inscription celebrating Bagnaia’s lap record.

Also, owners can further personalize their experience with a limited edition professional racing suit, made from fine kangaroo leather and designed to match the bike’s colour scheme.
