Saidatul Zakirah Makes History, Johann Zharfan Takes Third in Qatar

Saidatul Zakirah secured a historic second-place finish, while Johann Zharfan claims third overall in the QSSP 300 championship.

Malaysian female rider Saidatul Zakirah Zairin, better known as Kirah, has once again put Malaysia on the international motorsport map with a historic performance in the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship (QSTK) QSSP 300 category.

Competing as a wildcard entry at the Losail International Circuit, Kirah impressed with a strong fourth-place finish in the first race before securing second place in the second race. With this remarkable achievement, she became the first female rider to reach the podium in the championship’s history, marking a significant milestone for women in motorsports.

The Qatar Superstock 600 Championship is a highly competitive event that attracts professional riders from around the world to compete in superstock and supersport categories, including the QSSP 300. Kirah’s success in such a challenging field highlights her skill, resilience, and dedication to the sport.

Meanwhile, another Malaysian rider Johann Zharfan also made his mark at the event. He secured third place (P3) in the first race, proudly flying the Jalur Gemilang on the podium. Despite encountering technical issues in the second race, Johann demonstrated remarkable perseverance, fighting through the challenges to finish in sixth place (P6). His consistent performance throughout the season earned him an impressive third place (P3) overall in the QSSP 300 category.
