Italian windshield manufacturer WRS has announced an exciting new partnership with the Ducati Corse for the 2025 MotoGP World Championship. Starting this season, WRS will serve as a Technical Partner of the Ducati Lenovo Team, supplying bespoke windshields for the Desmosedici GP bikes ridden by Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.

Based in Cattolica, WRS brings years of industry expertise and cutting-edge technology to the collaboration. Each windshield will be custom-designed to meet the specific requirements of Ducati’s riders, optimising aerodynamics, visibility, and durability to enhance on-track performance.

The agreement was signed at Ducati’s headquarters in Borgo Panigale by WRS CEO Nicolas Zavoli and Ducati Corse Sporting Director Mauro Grassilli. Zavoli expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “2024 was an extraordinary year. Winning all the world championships and collaborating in the America’s Cup with the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team brought us unique and unforgettable emotions.

WRS windshields helped Jorge Martin’s Ducati Desmosedici GP 24 win all MotoGP World Championship titles.

“We are ready to face 2025 with another key ‘Red’ team. Working alongside riders like Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez is a great responsibility for us, but it’s also a motivation to keep pushing the boundaries of our technology. We can’t wait to see the bikes at the launch event on Monday in Campiglio,” Zavoli said.

WRS is riding high after a record-breaking 2024, during which the company celebrated multiple triumphs. Ducati swept MotoGP titles, with Jorge Martin claiming the premier class crown, David Alonso securing Moto3 honours, and Ai Ogura taking the Moto2 championship.

The company also played a role in WorldSBK’s success, contributing to BMW’s championship win with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu. Additionally, WRS debuted in the America’s Cup sailing competition, designing innovative windshields for the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team.

The new collaboration with Ducati underscores WRS’s commitment to excellence and innovation in motorsport. As Bagnaia and Marquez gear up for what promises to be a thrilling 2025 MotoGP season, WRS will aim to provide them with the tools to stay competitive at the highest level.

The 2025 MotoGP season begins in February with testing at the Sepang International Circuit, offering fans their first look at Ducati’s newly revealed GP25 bikes featuring WRS windshields. The much-anticipated pairing of Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez hailed as the “Dream Team” for the 2025 season, will also take centre stage.
