Morbidelli, through its official Malaysian distributor MForce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd., has launched its latest adventure motorcycle, the MBP T1002VX, a robust and feature-packed model aimed at redefining the trail-biking experience. The bike was first introduced during the Top 68 Dealers’ Educational Tour Sales Campaign 2024 in Changsha, China, on November 21 last year.

At the heart of the MBP T1002VX is a 997cc V-twin, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, capable of delivering 87 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 89 Nm at 5,250 rpm. Its performance is complemented by twin disc brakes with 4-piston J.Juan callipers at the front, and a single disc brake with a single-piston calliper at the rear, supported by a dual-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for enhanced safety.

The T1002VX comes in two colour options, black and white.

This adventure motorcycle boasts 120/70 R19 front tyres and 170/60 R17 rear tyres, offering exceptional grip and stability, especially on rugged trails. With dimensions of 2,313mm x 931mm x 1,475mm and a seat height of 820mm, the bike is versatile and accommodates a wide range of riders. The 20-litre fuel tank ensures fewer refuelling stops, making it perfect for long-distance journeys.

The MBP T1002VX is equipped with an electric starter powered by a 12V14Ah battery and includes thoughtful features such as a hazard button for emergencies and handguards to protect riders from debris and weather. The inclusion of an Auto Cruise function ensures effortless long-distance travel by maintaining a steady speed.

Its suspension system includes adjustable upside-down front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock, promising a smooth ride across various terrains. A modern TFT display meter provides essential riding information, including details on the four riding modes and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Morbidelli introduces the MBP Connect app, an innovative companion for riders. The app provides access to comprehensive data such as fuel levels, speed, maintenance history, and service reminders, along with advanced navigation and journey tracking. Additionally, it offers nearby workshop locations, maintenance schedules, and care tips for optimal performance.

For long-distance travel, the bike comes with three spacious luggage compartments, including a 50-litre top box and 42-litre and 36-litre side boxes. Riders can also utilize USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports to keep their devices powered during adventures.

Buyers of the MBP T1002VX will benefit from a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and access to Morbidelli Malaysia’s online genuine parts purchase service. The first 200 units are available at a special price of RM48,888 (excluding road tax and insurance), after which the price will increase to RM53,888. The motorcycle is now available at authorized MForce dealerships nationwide.
