Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd has officially introduced the all-new Honda RS-X Winner for the Malaysian market, a refined underbone motorcycle tailored to elevate the riding experience. The RS-X Winner, known globally as the Winner X in Vietnam, brings a host of new features and improvements to cater to the demands of modern Malaysian riders.

One of the standout upgrades in the RS-X Winner is the introduction of an assist and slipper clutch. This advanced system not only ensures smoother gear transitions but also prevents rear-wheel slippage during aggressive downshifting. Additionally, the slipper clutch reduces wear and tear on the drivetrain, offering enhanced durability and lower maintenance costs.

The motorcycle retains its reliable 149.2cc DOHC single-cylinder engine, producing 15.8 hp at 9,000 rpm and 13.6 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Equipped with a six-speed liquid-cooled system, the RS-X Winner delivers strong acceleration while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency, consuming only 50 km per litre. Honda has also refined the engine’s oil passages, particularly for improved tensioner lubrication, ensuring smoother and more efficient performance.

The RS-X Winner boasts several modern upgrades that enhance its practicality and aesthetics. The inclusion of the Honda Smart Key System allows riders to start the engine and lock the handlebars without removing the key, while its anti-theft alarm and answer-back feature add an extra layer of convenience and security.

A USB charging port with a waterproof cover ensures riders can stay connected during long trips, while the redesigned body panels, meter housing, and control switches give the motorcycle a fresh and contemporary look.

A new five-spoke design for the 17-inch alloy rims replaces the previous six-spoke version, complementing the motorcycle’s sporty profile. Other key features include LED lighting, a 4.5-litre fuel tank, telescopic front forks, and a monoshock rear suspension with preload adjustment. The RS-X Winner also comes equipped with single-channel ABS, offering added confidence during braking.

The motorcycle has earned a prestigious 5-star rating under the MyMAP Program, a recognition of its excellence in safety, technology, and overall performance. Designed to balance performance with rider comfort, the RS-X Winner aims to meet the needs of both daily commuters and long-distance travellers.

Priced at RM9,998 for the standard colours Blue, Green, and Matte Gray and RM10,298 for the Special Yellow variant. Prices exclude road tax, insurance, and registration. The motorcycle is backed by a two-year or 20,000 km warranty.
