The Didi Group, Triumph’s official distributor in Malaysia, has launched the all-new 2025 Triumph Trident 660, further enhancing Triumph’s offerings across its network.

Introduced globally just a few weeks ago, the updated Trident 660 caters to the growing demand in the mid-range motorcycle segment with notable technological upgrades and premium standard features for local riders.

Significant improvements in the 2025 Trident 660 focus on equipment enhancements. The model now comes equipped with Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Triumph Shift Assist for seamless gear shifts, and cruise control as standard features.

The suspension retains its standout components, including a 41 mm USD fork with SFF-BL (big piston) technology, paired with a rear Showa monoshock featuring pre-load adjustment. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tires.

Adding to the previous Road and Rain ride modes, a new Sport mode has been introduced for more spirited performance. The 2025 Trident 660’s full-colour TFT display now includes standard smartphone connectivity for navigation and music control, along with upgraded materials and finishes.

Mechanically, the Trident 660 maintains its 660 cc three-cylinder engine and six-speed transmission, generating 81 hp at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Its braking system features a 310 mm dual-disc setup with two-piston callipers in front and a 255 mm single disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear.

The motorcycle continues to sport a 14-litre fuel tank and an 805 mm seat height, with a slight weight increase to 190 kg due to the new features. Triumph offers a two-year unlimited mileage warranty for the Trident 660.

Rewi Hamid Bugo, Chairman of Didi Group, expressed confidence in the Trident 660’s market potential: “We are truly confident in gaining market share in the mid-range naked bike category with the Trident 660. Being one of our bestsellers, we’re thrilled to present the new Trident 660 with its advanced features and specs, offering more value and performance.”

He added, “With Triumph Motorcycles recently awarded ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ by MCN, we are proud to share in Triumph’s vision for excellence, and we’re committed to furthering the brand’s success in Malaysia and beyond.”

The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 is priced at RM46,900 and is available in three colour options; Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, and Diablo Red. The new model is expected to be available in dealerships from December 2024.

Riders will also benefit from a two-year factory warranty and an industry-leading service interval of 16,000 kilometres for added peace of mind.
