The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the 2024 MotoGP finale. This final race, known as the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona, will run from November 15th to 17th. Originally scheduled for Valencia, the event was moved due to severe flooding in the Community of Valencia. This shift allows MotoGP to show support for Valencia while ending the season in Barcelona.

Racing in Solidarity with Valencia

The MotoGP season finale was initially planned for Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. However, due to flood damage, the event had to be re-imagined. MotoGP ensured Valencia remains at the heart of the race’s purpose, dedicating the Barcelona finale to Valencia’s resilience and recovery.

MotoGP aims for “a positive impact on people, place, and planet” with this special edition. Racing “for Valencia” reflects MotoGP’s commitment to supporting the region, uniting fans, riders, and the MotoGP family in a meaningful cause.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya: The Ideal Choice

The selection of Barcelona’s premier circuit is strategic in multiple respects. First, the location enables fans who originally planned to attend Valencia to make a relatively seamless transition. Additionally, the logistics and accessibility of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya offer an efficient setup, allowing MotoGP personnel and equipment to adapt quickly to the new venue.

This circuit, known for its thrilling layout and passionate fan base, is set to provide a spectacular backdrop for the 2024 title decider. With the World Championship on the line, fans are sure to witness high-stakes action as the season concludes on one of Europe’s most beloved tracks.

Supporting Valencia Throughout the Grand Prix Weekend

MotoGP has planned various initiatives over the course of the Grand Prix weekend to support relief efforts in Valencia. These initiatives are part of MotoGP’s larger mission to give back to local communities and promote positive change at each race location. Fans and attendees will have the chance to participate in activities designed to raise both awareness and funds, ensuring that the spirit of Valencia is truly present in Barcelona.

A Call to Fans Worldwide

The Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona promises an unforgettable finale for MotoGP fans. Intense on-track battles will define this season’s conclusion. For those wanting to witness the excitement live, ticket details will be available soon. Fans can also find ways to support the Community of Valencia.

MotoGP invites everyone to join in Barcelona from November 15th to 17th. Celebrate Valencia’s resilience and the spirit of the sport in a truly meaningful event.
