Suzuki GSX-S1000GX Now Available Nationwide

Suzuki Malaysia has officially announced the availability of the much-anticipated Suzuki GSX-S1000GX in the Malaysian market. 

After generating excitement at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 and the recent Suzuki Monsoon Getaway in Port Dickson, the Supreme Sport Crossover is now ready to meet the demands of sport and adventure bike enthusiasts.

Sharing the engine with its sibling, the GSX-S1000GT sports-tourer, the GSX-S1000GX is powered by a 999cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. With a Euro 5-compliant setup, the bike produces an impressive 150 hp and 106 Nm of torque.

The six-speed gearbox includes an up-and-down quickshifter, a slipper clutch, and a chain final drive. The 17-inch wheels are fitted with 120/70 front and 190/50 rear tyres. 

The GSX-S1000GX comes equipped with advanced technologies, including the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) featuring the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-α), Smart TLR Control, and Active Damping Control.

These rider aids ensure precision and adaptability, whether on highways or more dynamic routes. In addition, the Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES) offers adjustable settings for sport riding and touring, providing 150mm of front fork stroke and rear wheel travel.

With a 19-litre fuel tank, a seat height of 845 mm, and a weight of 232 kg, the GSX-S1000GX strikes a balance between comfort and performance. Its upright riding position, wind protection, LED headlights, and premium LED rear lights enhance the bike’s touring capability. The model’s cutting-edge technology and design make it equally suited for urban riding, performance handling, and long-distance touring.

The GSX-S1000GX, with its aggressive design and versatile nature, garnered positive attention during the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, where it was praised for its solid build and advanced features. This model showcased its real-world capabilities at the event, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier sport crossover.

Available in two colour variants, Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black, the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX is priced at RM89,900 (excluding registration, road tax, and insurance). The model is available for purchase at Suzuki Big Bike World dealers across Malaysia.
