CFMoto Malaysia Unveils New 500SR Voom: A Perfect Blend of Sport and Retro

CFMoto Malaysia continues to make waves in the local motorcycle market with the launch of their latest model, the CFMoto 500SR Voom, which masterfully combines sport and retro design elements. 

The new model was launched at the CFMoto Flagship Store in Semenyih by Kedai Motorsikal Tenaga, offers an eye-catching neo-retro design and is packed with modern features that cater to riders seeking both style and performance.

The middleweight sportbike is powered by a 499cc in-line four-cylinder engine, capable of producing 78hp at 12,500rpm (81.8 hp with ram air) and 49Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. 

Besides that, 500SR Voom also boasts a range of advanced features to enhance the riding experience. The bike is equipped with a Steering Damper, which can be fully adjusted for different riding preferences. 

Other than that, it includes a  Slipper Clutch with a Quickshifter function, allowing seamless gear shifts without needing to engage the clutch. The Adjustable Hydraulic Damping on both the front and rear suspension ensures extra comfort, especially on uneven or rocky terrain.

Safety is a top priority with the inclusion of a dual-channel ABS braking system, an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) system that activates hazard lights during sudden stops, and Traction Control (TC) with two adjustable levels for varying road conditions. Additionally, the bike comes equipped with CST S3 tyres (120/70 R17 front and 160/60 R17 rear), offering excellent grip and stability.

The 500SR Voom also display a 5-inch TFT-LCD dashboard, designed for easy readability in daylight, as well as dual USB charging ports (Type-C and Type-A), perfect for long-distance travellers. The bike also features a 15.5L fuel tank, minimizing refuelling stops during extended rides. 

This China-made motorcycle blends timeless and contemporary design elements, featuring sleek LED lighting and dual exhausts that provide a striking appearance and a race-inspired sound. With dimensions of 2,010mm in length, 730mm in width, and 1,115mm in height, along with a seat height of 795mm. 

Available in two striking colours, Zephyr Blue and Nebula White, the CFMoto 500SR Voom is priced at RM35,888 (excluding tax and insurance). Buyers will get a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and access to genuine spare parts through CFMoto Malaysia’s online platform.
