BMW Motorrad has upgraded its popular C 400 X and C 400 GT scooters for 2025. The new versions come with enhanced features, modern designs, and increased storage space.
What’s New for 2025 with BMW?
Fresh Design and Colours
The C 400 X now comes in a rugged trim. It features a Kalamata metallic matt body with bold red accents. The version includes a red-black seat, stainless steel footboards, and tinted windshields. Off-road-style rims and tyres give it a robust look.
The C 400 GT gets a new “Exclusive” version. This variant comes in a Diamond white metallic hue with golden rims. The GT Exclusive also has black seats with embroidered details.
Expanded Storage and Convenience
BMW has increased under-seat storage for both models. The C 400 X offers an extra 3 litres of storage. The C 400 GT has 12 litres more space, plus handy front pockets.
BMW has also introduced a new 43.5-litre top case. This case offers more storage and holds a maximum weight of 10 kg. The top case comes with interior lighting and a USB charging port.
Improved Safety Features
Both scooters now include ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, and Dynamic Traction Control. These systems improve rider stability and safety. The scooters also have Engine Drag Torque Control for better handling.
Upgraded Display and Connectivity
A new 6.5-inch TFT display comes standard on both models. It offers better readability and more intuitive controls. The C 400 GT has an option to upgrade to a 10.25-inch display. This larger screen is part of the Connectivity Pro package, which integrates with the BMW Motorrad Connected app. Riders can easily manage phone calls, music, and navigation.
Accessories for Customization
BMW offers a range of accessories for both models. These include body protectors, hand guards, anti-theft systems, and luggage racks. Riders can also upgrade the C 400 GT with a 10.25-inch TFT display.
Engine and Performance
Both scooters continue with their 350-cc single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 34 hp at 7,500 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. Power is delivered smoothly through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The C 400 X has a top speed of 139 km/h. The C 400 GT is limited to 136 km/h.
Pricing and Availability
We don’t know the price of the new models yet. However, the current C 400 X retails for RM 47,500. The C 400 GT is priced at RM 51,500 in Malaysia.
