Earlier this month, MForce Bike Holdings, Malaysia’s top motorcycle distributor representing brands like SYM, Benelli, CFMoto, and QJMotor, hosted an exciting track day event at the Beranang Horizon Circuit. This gave motorcycle enthusiasts a chance to test-ride a range of bikes on the circuit.
Before the event kicked off, MForce unveiled two new models—the FR150 (Formica Rossa), a 150cc underbone, and the QJMotor Fort 350 maxi scooter. The morning session was exclusively for the media, offering test rides on a variety of MForce bikes, from 150cc models up to 1200cc.
iMotorbike was fortunate enough to be part of the media session. While we didn’t have enough time for a deep dive into the FR150, we did manage to get some solid laps in on several other models, including the much-anticipated QJMotor Fort 350 maxi scooter. Don’t worry, though—we’ll bring you a detailed review of the FR150 soon, so stay tuned!
Test Rides and Insights
Here’s the list of bikes we tested at the event:

For now, we’re diving into the models we did get to test ride. With five laps on each bike, the compact nature of the Beranang Horizon Circuit didn’t allow for detailed evaluations of top-end speed or full transmission capabilities.
But we had plenty of time to assess other important features like specs, rider comfort, how each bike handled tight corners, and their potential for daily city commutes or long-distance cruising. So, if you’re in the market for a new ride or want to compare models, we’ve got you covered!
QJMotor Fort 350: First Ride Impressions
Unveiled during the MForce Track Day by Operations General Manager En. Asri Ahmad, who took it for a spin to officially kick off the event, the QJMotor Fort 350 immediately stood out. As a maxi scooter, it’s designed for spaciousness and comfort, which is typical for this type of machine.
Maxi scooters are essentially larger scooters with more powerful engines, built to offer better comfort, ample storage, and the ability to handle longer rides. The Fort 350 ticks all these boxes, making it a great choice for long-distance travel or for riders who prefer a larger, more comfortable setup.
Its TFT instrument cluster provides a clear and intuitive display, while the 350cc engine delivers smooth, impressive acceleration. While stable during cornering, it’s best to avoid pushing the scooter beyond its natural lean angle.
This scooter is packed with modern features, including a keyless system that uses NFC technology for added convenience. The ergonomic seat enhances its comfort for city commuting, while the pillion seat offers enough space to ensure a comfortable ride for a passenger as well.
On the technical side, the Fort 350 offers a maximum torque of 35.2Nm at 6,000rpm and is equipped with dual-channel ABS, a front telescopic fork, and dual rear mono shocks. Standing tall at 720mm with a ground clearance of 150mm, it might feel a bit high for some riders. At 195kg, the scooter feels heavy when stationary but becomes light and agile once on the move.
Whether you’re a weekend rider, a dad or husband looking for a practical, large bike with plenty of storage, or simply seeking a reliable office commute vehicle, the QJMotor Fort 350 could be just what you need.
CF Moto 700CL-X Sport: Style and Performance
The CF Moto 700CL-X Sport is a head-turner on city streets, blending style and power, making it perfect for both daily commuting and weekend rides. Its look gives off a similar vibe to the Benelli Leoncino 500, exuding that classic cafe racer aesthetic.
Underneath the stylish exterior is a liquid-cooled, 693cc, twin-cylinder four-stroke DOHC engine. With 75HP at 8,750rpm and 61Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, the 700CL-X offers solid performance, making acceleration feel smooth and responsive for a sports variant. The bike’s newly designed split frame weighs just 16.5kg and paired with a 6.7kg aluminium alloy swingarm, it keeps the overall curb weight at a light 205kg.
For braking and handling, the 700CL-X is equipped with Brembo brakes and ABS. Its KYB 41mm USD front forks and single rear shock do contribute to a smooth ride, making it agile and nimble, with no trouble tackling corners.
This bike is ideal for those who want a cafe racer with a large engine capacity, enough power for spirited riding, and a design that stands out in both urban and open road settings. Perfect for riders who crave style and performance in one package.
Morbidelli C1002V: Power and Luxury in a Cruiser
The Morbidelli C1002V lives up to its motto, “Unleash the Beast, and feel the V-TWIN thrill on every journey,” offering a perfect blend of power and luxury. As the flagship cruiser from Morbidelli, it boasts a fully aluminium chassis, delivering strength and agility in a premium package.
The C1002V is powered by a robust 997cc V-twin engine, with its cylinders set at an 80° angle. At first glance, it bears a striking resemblance to Harley’s V-Rod, doesn’t it? But with a second look, you might start to wonder if this is what Batman’s supercruiser would look like. Its sleek, stealthy design gives it the feel of a “dark knight” bike, with an undeniably bold presence.
This maxi cruiser comes equipped with a range of modern features, including a digital TFT dashboard, dual riding modes, cruise control, and an advanced ABS braking system from J.Juan. It’s a cruiser built for enthusiasts who crave power, stability, and comfort on long rides.
The bike’s belt-driven powertrain offers smooth cruising, with an emphasis on comfort and riding enjoyment. The swooping double saddle and laid-back riding position enhance the relaxed experience, while its low seat height of 680mm and dry weight of 268kg makes it accessible to a wide range of riders.
Though it’s designed for stability and long-distance cruising, the C1002V’s low stance and extended wheelbase mean it’s not ideal for tight cornering. However, its tuned exhaust produces a deep, resonant sound that adds to the thrill of the ride. No doubt, this cruiser is built for the open road and provides a luxurious yet powerful riding experience.
CF Moto 450MT: Impressive Versatility
The next bike on our review list is the CF Moto 450MT, a versatile addition to CFMOTO’s adventure touring lineup. At first glance, it’s clear this bike is built for off-road adventures, thanks to its rugged design and multi-terrain capabilities.
China’s manufacturers didn’t hold back with this model. The 450MT is impressive, featuring a mid-size parallel-twin engine developed for both light handling and long-ride comfort. The trellis-style frame, crafted from the same material used in larger adventure bikes, enhances off-road performance while keeping the weight manageable.
Powered by a 449cc, 2-cylinder, inline 4-stroke, liquid-cooled DOHC engine with a 270° crankshaft and double balance shafts, the 450MT provides just the right amount of power to handle a variety of surfaces.
The seat height is adjustable, with a standard setting of 820mm, a low option at 800mm, and an accessory tall seat option at 870/850mm. During the test ride, the rider, standing at 171cm, found it easy to plant both feet on the tarmac. Plus, the standing riding position feels solid, making it ideal for off-road exploration.
WMoto Bobbie VII: Classic Rock ‘n’ Roll
The last bike on our list is the WMoto Bobbie VII, a cool “bobber” with a retro rebellious vibe, giving off a Harley Davidson XL Sportster feel. Its rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic makes it a real head-turner.
It comes with a clean, full LCD digital meter displaying all the necessary info, along with fully LED lights on both the front and back. Its comfortable design includes a rear pillion seat for added convenience.
When it comes to performance, the Bobbie VII offers smooth acceleration and speed, making it ideal for long rides like weekend trips or group rides. The bike’s aggressive exhaust sound only adds to its appeal, perfect for riders who love a bit of growl on the road.
Powered by a 693cc, two-cylinder, 4-stroke engine delivering 74hp at 8,500rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, it’s equipped with dual-channel ABS for safety. There’s also a USB charger for keeping gadgets powered up. The adjustable seat is made from premium materials to suit various rider heights.
Adding a touch of class, the Bobbie VII features a gold “Bobbie” logo on both the rider and passenger seats. With its 15-litre fuel tank, it’s great for long trips without frequent fuel stops.
