A Vision for the Future: Freinademetz’s Commitment to eMoto Development
Red Bull Romaniacs founder, Martin Freinademetz, is excited to be at the forefront of the eMoto revolution. “We really want to be the first rally event to be part of the eMoto development,” Freinademetz said. “We want to support the industry, and Red Bull Romaniacs is a great test for eMoto bikes.” The 2024 Limitless Edition already featured eMoto bikes on the Romaniacs tracks. Seven riders tested their skills on challenging long-distance courses.
Tailored for eMoto: Adjustments to the 2025 Tracks
Feedback from 2024 is shaping the 2025 eMoto classes. Freinademetz and Track Director Teo Isac are adapting the tracks to suit electric bikes. eMoto tracks will be around 35 km long before reaching the Service Point for battery recharge. An additional 20 km will follow after the recharge. Riders can push their bikes without worrying about power failure.
A Greener, More Accessible Event
The new eMoto class is designed to be more accessible to participants. Shorter tracks and rallies allow for an adjusted entry fee. This makes it easier for more riders to participate in the electric motorcycle category. The inclusion of electric bikes highlights Romaniacs’ commitment to environmental sustainability.
