Aprilia has unveiled the RSV4 X ex3ma, an exceptional track motorcycle tailored for racing enthusiasts and track day riders. Revealed during the Emilia Romagna MotoGP, this impressive machine features a powerful 230bhp engine while weighing just 165kg, making it one of the lightest and most potent bikes on the market.

Dubbed “a true bridge to MotoGP,” the RSV4 X ex3ma is the first motorcycle to incorporate patented ground-effect aerodynamics, a technology previously reserved for Aprilia’s RS-GP MotoGP prototype. This innovative feature boosts stability and performance at high speeds, setting a new benchmark in motorcycle design.

This non-street legal bike is powered by a legendary 65° V4 engine, boasting 1099cc and tuned by Aprilia Racing to deliver 230 hp at 13,500 rpm and 131 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. This performance is enhanced by a high compression ratio, Sprint Filter air filter, and an SC-Project exhaust with titanium headers.

Its aerodynamically sculpted fairing maximizes air pressure during cornering to significantly enhance grip. The package includes a new front wing, an underwing below the swingarm, and cornering wings on the mudguard, all crafted from carbon fibre using MotoGP-level techniques. Compared to the X Trenta, the RSV4 X ex3ma amplifies vertical air pressure fivefold and triples downforce in corners, boosting both stability and handling.

Max Biaggi, the six-time world championship Grand Prix motorcycle racer.

The striking Perla Nera livery celebrates Aprilia’s racing legacy and honours the iconic RS 250, the bike on which Biaggi secured three consecutive world titles from 1994 to 1996. The colour scheme also ties in with Aprilia’s tribute to MotoGP’s 75th anniversary, where manufacturers raced in their most iconic colours.

Designed for passionate Aprilia fans seeking an elite track experience, the RSV4 X ex3ma integrates advanced technology with superior aerodynamics for an unforgettable ride. The bike includes an ECU with racing strategies and an integrated data system, as well as Aprilia’s APX system for adjustable wheelie control, traction, and engine braking.

Each bike also comes with a Yashi laptop for managing the ECU software. The RSV4 X ex3ma features a twin-spar aluminium frame, Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, and carbon fibre rims.

As a limited edition, only 30 units of the RSV4 X ex3ma will be produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Aprilia’s first 250cc World Championship win. Priced at €80,000 (RM370,000), the bike stands as a pinnacle of performance and exclusivity.

Available for reservation online from September at Factoryworks.Aprilia.com, buyers will also receive exclusive perks, including the chance to collect their bike at Aprilia Racing in Noale, a visit to the racing division, and special accessories like a personalised cover, dedicated carpet, and rear stand.
