MotoGP is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2024, kicking off the festivities at the Monster Energy British Grand Prix. For the first time in the sport’s history, every bike and rider on the grid will race at Silverstone with unique, retro-inspired liveries.

These special paint jobs were revealed live during the MotoGP 75th Anniversary Special on Thursday. Fans attending the Day of Champions pitlane walk got an exclusive look as each bike was unveiled one by one.

Here’s a look at these incredible designs and the stories behind them:

Ducati Lenovo Team

World Champion Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini will ride with liveries inspired by the Ducati Desmosedici GP3 machines from 2003, famously piloted by Loris Capirossi and Troy Bayliss.

Prima Pramac Racing

The team is honouring Angel Nieto’s 1983 125cc World Championship design, celebrating the legendary Spaniard and uncle of Fonsi Nieto, the team’s Sporting Director.

Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing

Valentino Rossi’s team chose the iconic Sole Luna (Sun & Moon) design, which was a staple on Rossi’s helmets throughout his career and will now adorn the Ducati GP23 machines.

Gresini Racing

Marc and Alex Marquez will sport the ‘il Tricolore’ design, originally used by the late Fausto Gresini during his 1985 and 1987 125cc World Championships.

Aprilia Racing

Aprilia’s livery is inspired by the RSV 250 that Max Biaggi rode to three consecutive 250cc titles in the mid-90s.

Trackhouse Racing

In their debut season, Trackhouse Racing pays tribute to American legends like Kevin Schwantz, Kenny Roberts, Wayne Rainey, and Freddie Spencer, drawing inspiration from these icons.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing

KTM’s design is based on the original KTM LC4, developed by Wolfgang Felber and used to win the 1989 German ‘Sound of Singles’ Championship.

Red Bull GASGAS Tech3

Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez will ride with a special livery to commemorate MotoGP’s 75th anniversary.

Monster Energy Yamaha

Yamaha will feature their iconic red and white livery, first seen in 1964 and made famous by riders like Jarno Saarinen and Giacomo Agostini.

Repsol Honda Team

Honda’s vintage livery celebrates Freddie Spencer’s 1983 500cc World Championship win, highlighting one of the most memorable title fights in Grand Prix history.

Castrol Honda – Idemitsu Honda LCR

Johann Zarco will showcase a modern twist on the 1966 Honda livery, inspired by Mike Hailwood’s six-cylinder machine. Takaaki Nakagami’s design reflects the team’s Japanese heritage and sponsor Idemitsu.
