Motorcycle fans have been buzzing for months about CFMoto’s upcoming 675 SR-R, and the wait is finally over! The sleek, powerful machine was officially unveiled on July 13th at the 2024 CFMOTO DAY event, and it does look like a true game-changer.

This isn’t just another motorcycle; the 657 SR-R marks a significant leap forward for CFMoto.  It boasts a brand new, three-cylinder engine that promises exhilarating performance, cutting-edge features that put the rider in control, and a design that screams “race ready” from every angle.  Good news for Malaysian motorcycle fans, the 675 SR-R is expected to hit the market soon!

Here’s a deeper dive into what makes this bike so special

Powerhouse Engine

Forget everything you know about CFMoto engines. The 675 SR-R features the manufacturer’s first-ever triple-cylinder engine, a technological marvel that cranks out a whopping 70 kW of power (probably around 90+ hp) and 70 Nm of torque. This translates to a thrilling riding experience that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Looks That Kill (Performance to Match)

The aggressive design of the 675 SR-R isn’t just for show. The sleek lines and sharp angles not only turn heads but also contribute to the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency. To me, it’s like a blend of Ducati’s flair and BMW’s precision. Still, it is an excellent balance of form and function, showcasing CFMoto’s design prowess.

Tech for the Modern Rider

The 675 SR-R isn’t just powerful and beautiful; it’s also packed with the latest technology. A stunning 5-inch TFT display puts the rider in control, allowing them to adjust settings like traction control and lap times with ease. Bluetooth connectivity keeps you synced with the bike, while optional extras like tyre pressure monitoring and over-the-air software updates.

From Street to Track in Minutes

The 675 SR-R isn’t just built for cruising down city streets. With features like integrated turn signals that can be easily removed and a low exhaust designed for maximum cornering clearance, the 675 SR-R can be transformed from a street bike to a track weapon in a matter of minutes. This versatility makes it the perfect choice for riders who crave both everyday riding and the thrill of the racetrack.

The 675 SR-R is a glimpse into the future of CFMoto, and it’s clear they’re making a serious push in the sportbike market. With its combination of power, technology, and versatility, the 675 SR-R is a force to be reckoned with, and it sure has the potential to be a competitive option in the three-cylinder sportbike market.

However, it will need strong reviews and some time to build brand recognition to truly challenge the dominance of established players like Triumph and MV Agusta.

Here’s a video that the Chinese manufacturer CFMOTO uploaded to YouTube.
