The Yamaha Ego Avantiz, a popular utility scooter in Malaysia, has received a fresh colour upgrade for 2024. This latest enhancement introduces three vibrant new colours – Sky Blue, Dark Blue, and Purple – replacing the previous Grey, Cyan, and Red shades. This change will invigorate the scooter’s appeal among urban commuters and enthusiasts alike.

The 2024 Yamaha Ego Avantiz comes with a price tag of RM 5,998, excluding road tax, registration, and insurance. Despite the colour upgrade, the pricing remains unchanged. Hong Leong Yamaha Motor continues to offer the Ego Avantiz at this competitive rate. The price also includes a 2-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty, ensuring peace of mind for buyers.

The Yamaha Ego Avantiz is famous for its stylish design, efficiency, and practicality. It features LED headlights, a robust Blue Core engine, and a spacious 14-litre storage compartment that accommodates a jet-type helmet.

The technical specifications of the Yamaha Ego Avantiz remain consistent with previous models. It boasts a 125-cc BlueCore air-cooled single-cylinder engine. It is capable of delivering a maximum power of 9.4 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is efficiently transmitted to the rear wheel via an automatic transmission coupled with a V-belt and a wet multi-plate clutch system.

The Yamaha Ego Avantiz comes with LED headlights and brake lights, enhancing visibility and safety. It includes a safety parking lock system to prevent accidental movements when parked. It also features a grab bar for the pillion rider, providing additional support for passengers. The pure black exhaust system adds a sleek, modern touch. On the other hand, the 14-inch alloy wheels ensure durability and a smooth ride. The scooter comes with 70/90 front and 90/80 rear tyres for optimal traction.

A 4.2-litre fuel tank offers a decent range for daily commuting, and the 14-litre under-seat storage is spacious enough for a jet-type helmet. Additionally, the inbuilt ECO indicator on the metre gauge promotes fuel-efficient riding. With a seat height of 773 mm, the Ego Avantiz ensures a comfortable riding posture.

The suspension setup includes a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock single absorber at the rear. This provides a balanced and comfortable ride. For braking, the scooter features a single hydraulic disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power.

The 2024 Yamaha Ego Avantiz, its new hues, is now available at all Hong Leong Yamaha-authorised dealerships nationwide. This upgrade not only refreshes the scooter’s look but also reaffirms its position as a stylish and practical choice for Malaysian riders.
