Since his debut in 2017, Zarco has showcased his skills on bikes from KTM, Yamaha, and, until recently, Ducati – a brand known for its excellence in the field.

In an interview during the season launch, the Frenchman outlined his contribution to the project, emphasizing his adeptness at analyzing the performance of fellow riders. Zarco expressed his ability to discern nuances in their feedback, offering alternative perspectives to problem-solving. He noted, “The way I can analyze what the other riders are doing well. Or just between Honda riders when we share our comments, also try to give a way of what they’re feeling. Like, if the bike is moving, they think it’s because of the rear and I can say, ‘No, maybe it’s because of the front.’ And then they can take the problem in another way. I think this can be my strong point, to use the way to analyze very well.”

Returning to a satellite team, Zarco highlighted the advantages of LCR Honda over a traditional factory team setup. He pointed out the increased interaction with mechanics and technicians, coupled with access to factory bikes, as key benefits. Zarco remarked, “The advantage of LCR Honda compared to a real factory team is that we get more contact together with the mechanics and technicians and we have the factory bike. So it’s really the best solution to have like less pressure in the team, but with the best material.”

Transitioning to LCR Honda, Zarco brings not only his on-track prowess but also a keen analytical eye that could prove invaluable in refining the team’s performance. With his ability to decipher rider feedback and offer fresh insights, coupled with the advantages of a satellite team setup, Zarco appears poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming MotoGP season.
