The 2023 MotoGP season reached its thrilling conclusion at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, from the 24th to the 26th of November. Motul-backed Prima Pramac Racing emerged as the team champion, capping off an electrifying 20-round season. Notably, rider Jorge Martín secured an impressive P2 in the overall driver standings, a mere 39 points away from the top spot. On the other hand, teammate Johann Zarco claimed P5. Motul’s Factory Line lubricants evidently played a pivotal role in the team’s success.

Motul 300V: A Key Player in Championship Fights

The Circuit de Valencia, renowned for its challenging layout, presented formidable obstacles, making high-performance lubrication a crucial factor. Motul’s Factory Line lubricant, tailored for racing, proved essential for optimizing Ducati bike performance. Its features, including improved engine performance, high-temperature stability, superior engine protection, shear resistance, and compatibility with wet clutches, positioned Motul 300V as the preferred lubricant. Its range of viscosity options ensured adaptability to diverse racing requirements, contributing significantly to Prima Pramac Racing’s consistent excellence.

Valencia Showdown and Martín’s Pursuit for Glory

Arriving in Valencia, Jorge Martín, seated at P2 in the driver’s standings, had his sights set on the championship title. Despite an early victory in the Sprint Race, Martín faced an unfortunate incident that forced him to retire from the main race. Nevertheless, Prima Pramac Racing showcased their prowess through Johann Zarco’s stellar performance, securing an impressive P2 finish. The race’s grandeur was further elevated by Motul’s esteemed sponsorship as the Title Partner of the Grand Prix. This added an extra layer of excitement and prestige to the final race of 2023.

Martín’s Journey to Championship Contention

Jorge Martín’s journey throughout the 2023 MotoGP season reflected his persistent spirit and determination. From his early years in the Red Bull Rookies Cup to becoming the Moto3 champion in 2018, Martín has consistently demonstrated his potential and resilience. Transitioning to MotoGP in 2021, he faced challenges but secured the Rookie of the Year title in 2022. Despite setbacks in the 2022 season, Martín is poised for a strong comeback in 2024. He was ready to claim the championship title that has eluded him so far.

Motul Asia Pacific extends heartfelt congratulations to Prima Pramac Racing for their 2023 MotoGP Team Championship title.

The enduring partnership between Motul and Pramac continues, showcasing their commitment to motorsport excellence. Motul has renewed its partnership with Pramac Racing for three more seasons, from 2024 to 2026. The renewal demonstrates their shared dedication to enhancing performance. Motul is geared toward providing superior engine protection and contributing to overall success on the race track.

The Motul-powered Prima Pramac Racing team exemplifies collaborative excellence in motorsports. The partnership’s stellar performance marks a continued journey towards conquering new heights on the race track.
