The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) announced a reduction in compound and summons rates of up to 60 per cent in conjunction with the 216th Police Day.
PDRM through a statement on Facebook informed that the offer is now available from today until March 31.
“Offer to reduce traffic fines compound online up to 60 per cent subject to selected fines through the MyBayar Saman application and physically at all traffic fee counters at Contingent and District Police Headquarters nationwide.
“Compound reductions are not available for offences including accidents, court hearings, warrants, heavy vehicles, overtaking dangerously, using the emergency lane, breaking traffic lights, exhaust modifications and Op Selamat suits,” it stated.
People who wish to make a payment can register MyBayar Saman to avoid long queues at the traffic payment counter.
You can also make payment by registering through the portal https://mybayar.rmp.gov.my. Users can also download the application via Google Play Store; Apple store and Huawei Appstore.
