MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has officially launched the WMOTO XDV 250i urban adventure scooter for the Malaysian market with a selling price of RM18,888 (Standard) and RM21,888 (Project-X).

Interestingly, there are two variants of the XDV 250i for the local market. This includes the Standard and ‘Project-X’. The latter comes with a top box, side panniers, spoke-type rims (tubeless) and higher wind barriers.

Based on the information from the company, the model carries the name WMOTO XDV 250i and is a larger version than the existing WMOTO Xtreme 150i.

When the Xtreme 150i was rebranded from the Lifan KPV 150 model, the 250cc model was rebranded from the Longjia XDV 250Si and was completely assembled in Malaysia.

The WMOTO XDV 250i features a 244.3cc SOHC single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. It is capable of generating 24.13hp at 9,750rpm and 22.5Nm at 6,750rpm.

The suspension system comes with a 37mm Kayaba front fork and a twin rear monoshock also from Kayaba. The brake system is controlled by dual-channel ABS with J.Juan radial-type brake callipers. It is then matched with 240mm front and 220mm rear brake discs.

The storage space under the seat can also accommodate a full-face helmet. Not only that, but the XDV 250i also features a 13.5L tank and weighs around 168kg.

The model comes with a ‘smartkey’ function, a USB charging slot and 12V port. It also has an LCD digital screen display and adjustable wind barrier.

According to MForce, the WMOTO XDV 250i comes with a two-year or 20,000km warranty (whichever comes first).
