Massimo Tamburini was a legendary Italian motorcycle designer for Cagiva, Ducati, and MV Agusta, and one of the founders of Bimota. As a tribute to the two-wheeled world icon, MV Agusta will be launching the MV Agusta Tamburini Corse F43 in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the F4 model.
Only 25 units of the special model will be available. The design bears certain similarities to the F4 machine.
Since the Italian company no longer produces the F4 at the moment, many may assume that this special model is based on the MV Agusta F3. However, MV Agusta Tamburini Corse F43 is more likely to be developed from the F4 model.
First of all, the four exhausts displayed are indeed similar to those found on the MV F4. Secondly, the frame part is also clearly the same as the F4 model.
The last clue involves Tamburini’s legacy with MV Agusta itself. In a trip down memory lane, the late designer once produced a halo machine based on the F4.
So, surely his son, Andrea Tamburini, wants to continue the legacy with a machine that has a special relationship with his father while denying the claim that the model is an F3.
Currently, there is no official announcement regarding the availability of the special model. We can expect more information soon.
