Kawasaki Malaysia has officially announced that four Kawasaki CBU models consisting of the Z900RS, Ninja 1000SX, Versys 1000SE and ZX-10R have already arrived at the dealership.

Despite its retro features, the Kawasaki Z900RS features modern specifications including the same 848cc four-cylinder engine found in the Z900.

As a result, the engine offers 111hp at 8,500rpm and 98.5Nm at 6,500. Engine power is channelled through a 6-speed transmission with the help of an assist/slipper clutch.

Other features on offer include an adjustable suspension system, 300mm twin brake discs and 4-pot front brake callipers. This model also has a 17L tank. It is available at RM63,800.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX

This fourth-generation Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX comes with a 1043cc four-cylinder engine that generates 124.3hp and 111Nm.

Appearing with a sporty and aggressive design like the ZX-10R, this model also comes with various electronic packages. This would include a TFT meter panel, ‘electronic cruise control, Kawasaki Traction Control (KFT), riding mode and ‘Kawasaki Cornering Management Function’ (KCMF).

However, this model does not come with a ‘saddlebag’ as standard, until further notice. The model comes with a price tag of RM71,400

Kawasaki Versys 1000SE

Kawasaki’s popular ‘touring’ motorcycle, the Versys 1000SE, returns for 2022 and comes with a better level of comfort.

Offering 120hp and 102Nm from the same four-cylinder engine found on the Ninja 1000SX, the Versys 1000SE also comes with various modern electronic. This includes ‘electronic cruise control’, dual throttle valves and ‘assist/slipper clutch’ assistance.

The riding experience is also more interesting with the help of ‘quickshifter’. The model is available at RM81,900

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

The 998cc 4-inline engine of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, also now has Euro 5 status with lower emissions at the same time seeing more efficient engine combustion while offering a power of around 200hp at 13,200rpm (300rpm earlier than the 2019 model). The ZX-10R comes with a price tag of RM112,600.

Although the design is much different to the previous model, Kawasaki made the change to produce better downforce. Kawasaki also raised the wind barrier up to 40mm and the foot peg to 5mm higher.

Kawasaki also introduced a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, an easy-to-access riding mode button and electronic cruise control.

According to Kawasaki Malaysia, those interested can inspect the Z900RS, Ninja 1000SX and ZX-10R at the nearest official dealer while the Versys 1000SE will only arrive starting this December.
