Harley-Davidson hosted its 2nd Virtual H.O.G. Rally event on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM (Malaysia Time) via Harley-Davidson’s Asia Facebook, Instagram and YouTube handle, as well as via a microsite.
The event was attended by an even larger virtual audience of Harley-Davidson riders, Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members, enthusiasts, fans and dealers than in 2021. The event garnered 680,797 live views from motoring enthusiasts from Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and other parts of the globe, which also saw representation from over 50 H.O.G. Chapters across these markets. The content has reached over 6.5 million unique users to date, across H-D Asia’s Facebook, Youtube & Instagram handles. It crossed 1 Mn views in less than 24 hours.
Commenting on the event, Mr Sajeev Rajasekharan, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson Asia Emerging Markets & India, said, “We consistently strive to engage the H.O.G. community so like-minded people can come together and share their passion for freedom and adventure. The event was live-streamed from Harley-Davidson’soffice in Bangkok, Thailand with certain segments streamed from different parts of Asia.
The one-hour virtual event featured rider stories including H.O.G. chat sessions and updates, a H.O.G. talent hunt showcase, trivia quizzes, Custom Kings competition that included live voting and music performances by South Korean Rock band “Dickpunks” and popular Thai band “Playground”. A key highlight of the event was the showcase of Harley-Davidson’s recently launched Nightster motorcycle.
Viewers who registered through https://www.virtualhograllyasia.com and attended the live event were given exclusive rewards such as an exclusive 2nd Virtual H.O.G. Rally patch (only for H.O.G. members) and a 5% discount on select apparel purchases.
Other rewards were also given out at the event for the most engaged audience and trivia winners. The H.O.G. Custom Kings contest was won by Paul Garcia of Davao chapter, Philippines for the best-customized bike for his Electra Glide. The runner-up was Chun Ching Tseng of Taipei chapter, Taiwan for his Road Glide Ultra.
