At the end of March, Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto introduced its latest machine, the 450SR, to the global market. The motorcycle, developed from the SR-C21 prototype model, is an all-new ‘sports bike’ segment machine introduced by CFMoto.

Latest news is that the all-new 450SR model will also be making its debut in the Malaysian market.

According to the information provided to us, the local distributor, CFMOTO Malaysia will launch the CFMoto 450SR at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) this October during the Malaysian Grand Prix.

The Malaysia GP is indeed the most suitable platform for the launch of the model, especially since CFMoto has a team in the Moto3 class. This indirectly sees the 450SR going to join the 250SR that has been launched previously.

The CFMoto 450SR is a sports bike that features a 270-degree 449cc parallel-twin engine capable of producing 50hp and 39Nm. The power figure puts the CFMoto 450SR between the main competitors of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 (49hp) and KTM RC390 (44hp).

Apart from the powerful engine, the CFMoto 450SR also comes with a sporty and aggressive design including offering the ‘winglet’ feature found on the previous SR-C21 prototype model.

CFMOTO also claims that the 450SR is capable of recording a maximum speed of 190km/h.
