Italian motorcycle brand, Italjet, has confirmed that it will start marketing the long-awaited models, Dragster 125 and Dragster 200 starting December 2021.

As promised, Italjet has already started marketing both variants for the European and Asian markets. The Malaysian market will be welcoming the arrival of the Italjet Dragster 125 this year.

The Italjet Dragster 125 is expected to arrive in Malaysia around mid-2022 through its distributor, Chear Global. The scooter with its aggressive style has attracted the attention of many parties since its first public appearance.

However, the Covid-19 pandemic that struck the following year has put constraints on Italjet in marketing the motorcycle. Nevertheless, the brand reaffirmed that the Dragster will start marketing in December 2021 as a 2022 model while at EICMA, recently.

This Italjet Dragster will come in two variants, namely 125cc and 200cc.

The 125cc variant produces 13hp from a single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. The 200cc engine with Euro5 standard offers 18hp.

This Italjet Dragster features high-performance components including Akrapovic exhaust, Brembo brake system and Öhlins suspension.

Meanwhile, Italjet also revealed that it will launch an electric model in the second half of 2022 and will be named Dragster e01.
