Marc Márquez and Jorge Martín both crashed out in the opening laps of the British GP after a touch between the two riders that resulted in an accident just out of turn nine.

Through his official Twitter account, Marc Márquez acknowledged the mistake of what happened and apologized to the pilot and his team. ‘Today I have to apologize to Jorge Martín and his entire team, I’m sorry. I misunderstood the situation and miscalculated the overtaking that caused the accident. Fortunately, we’re fine.’, he said.
