Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Malaysia announced that the basic sales price of the 2020 Yamaha Y15ZR will remain unchanged at MYR 8,168.00 (excluding road tax, registration fee and insurance). They also announced that the delivery of this updated Y15ZR will begin this month, November 2020.

In addition, as earlier buyers who purchase the new Yamaha Y15ZR will receive a Yamaha Disc Lock worth RM100.00.

2020 Yamaha Y15ZR Specification

Aside from the graphics and colour changes, the overall design and mechanics of the Yamaha Y15ZR remain unchanged.

In the case of the engine, the 2020 Yamaha Y15ZR is still powered by a 150cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the Y15ZR produces 15.15 hp@ 8,500 rpm and 13.8 Nm of peak torque @ 7,000 rpm.

On the suspension side, telescopic front fork and mono-shock at the rear take care of suspense duties. As for the brakes, braking duties are done via single pot hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear. The 2020 Y15ZR comes with a set of 17-inch blacked-out alloy wheels wrapped around by 90/80 rubber up front and a chunky 120/70 rubber at the rear.
