2020 Yamaha YZF-R15 Specifications

To start off with the design, the YZF-R15 closely follows the aesthetics of its bigger R brothers. To go hand in hand with the overall look of the bike, the Yamaha YZF-R15 comes with twin LED headlights and a stylish sleek LED taillight.

With the new colour options, the Yamaha YZF-R15 looks even more aggressive and we dig it.

In the case of the engine, the Yamaha YZF-R15 is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder SOHC VVA engine. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the Yamaha YZF-R15 puts out 14.2 kW/19 hp @ 10000rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm.  The Yamaha R15 V3.0 also features assist and slipper clutch to provide smoother and quicker gear shifts.

Suspension duties are done via 41 mm telescopic fork and Link-type mono-shock at the rear.

As for the brakes, dual-piston calliper with 282 mm disc up front and single-piston calliper with 220 mm disc at the rear takes care of braking. Sporty 140/70 rear tyre and 100/80 front tyre wrapped around 17-inch rims further enhances the control and ride quality of the bike.
