JPJ and SPAD Are Offering 70% Discount on Summonses From August!

JPJ and SPAD will be offering  70% discount on all summonses from August 1st to 31st this year, 2020 for Merdeka/ Independence day! Here are the summon / saman discount details!

In conjunction with Merdeka month; Road Transport Department (JPJ) and  Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) is offering a 70% discount on summons starting August 1st to 31st 2020 for Malaysia.

Here is how you can pay for summons with the 70% discount in Malaysia:

According to the official JPJ Facebook, payment can be done through UTC and JPJ branches nationwide. Aside from this, payment can also be done online via; JPJ mySIKAP Portal, JPJ Kiosk and JPJ Mobile from August 1st to 31st 2020. For those who are blacklisted; they are required to visit any JPJ branch or state office for the documentation process before making the payment.

Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong says :

“The discount is given to all compoundable summonses issued by JPJ and the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) for offences under the Road Transport Act and Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act and other rules and orders under it, including cases that are still blacklisted.

“The discount is applicable at all JPJ branches nationwide; including at various urban transformation centres (UTC) and other payment channels such as JPJ’s mySIKAP Portal, JPJ Kiosk and JPJ Mobile, ” he added.
