Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R / ZX25R price announced and pre-ordering is now open in the 3rd market, New Zealand. A piece of good news for the ZX-25R fans?
Kawasaki Indonesia was set to launch the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R in April. Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the launch in Indonesia. Aside from this, the pandemic affected the launch of the bike in its birthplace, Japan too. However, good news for us, the ZX-25R is now officially moving into the 3rd country – New Zeland!
In New Zealand, the superbike ZX-25R is priced at $15,990 NZD, which is around 44,490 MYR or 10,400 USD. The ZX-25R wouldn’t be stocked in New Zealand; instead, it would be imported based on pre-ordering (which has already begun). The delivery of the bike for New Zealand is scheduled for December; which means the ZX-25R would most likely be unveiled in other Asian markets by July-August.
A few months earlier we speculated the ZX 25R price to be around MYR 40,000 / USD 10,000 range and now the official announcement gives us a closer look at the actual price of the ZX-25R. For a 250cc bike spec, the price might seem a bit too much but given the production cost for a 4 cylinder monster of this kind and the fact that the ZX-25R has no direct rival; the price doesn’t look so bad.
Did you know, Ninja ZX25R fans in Malaysia are spamming Kawasaki Malaysia’s social media to launch the Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R into Malaysia? Yes, it might sound crazy but this clearly shows how fans around the world are eagerly waiting or trying to get the ZX25R roll into their country. Let’s guess when is the release date and how much is the price in Malaysia for this 4 cylinder Kawasaki ZX 25R.
