Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd launches Maxsym TL500 and VF3i 185 LE in Malaysia. Here are the specs, prices and other details!
Starting in 2008, MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd is the SYM motorcycle distribution company in Malaysia. Specialised in assembling high-performance engines with integrated motorcycle design and development, SYM Malaysia is one of the most recognized motorcycles brands in Malaysia. To spice things up, Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd just launched two new bikes, the super scooter Maxsym TL500 and the limited edition super moped Sym VF3i 185 LE. Here are the pricing, specs and details of these bikes.
2020 SYM Maxsym TL 500
The super tourer scooter, Sym Maxsym TL 500 is designed and developed for long-haul rides. Mforce Bike Holdings announced that the Maxsym TL 500 would go on sale for RM35,888.00 and will be available in Matt Black, Matt Blue, and Grey at SYM distributors throughout Malaysia.

The most interesting thing about this new scooter is that it comes with an inline-twin engine which produces a maximum power output of 53.9 hp/ 40.2 kW at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 42.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm. On top of this, the Maxsym TL 500 is also the first scooter with a chain final-drive manufactured by Mforce.
To begin with, the Maxsym TL500 comes with four LED lights at the front that makes the headlamp looks brighter at night. On top of this, the scooter comes with a very attractive digital TFT instrumental panel with “Auto-dimmer”.
Furthermore, to blend in with the overall design, the TL500 comes with a unique 3D Dazzling flame rear lights and twin exhaust which resembles a “Honeycomb Shape” beehive. As for the ergonomics, to ensure comfort, the MAXSYM TL 500 is designed with a relaxed and ergonomic seating with an adjustable windshield.
The TL500 has a relatively large 12.5L petrol tank that comes in handy for long-haul rides. In terms of safety, the scooter comes with two 275mm discs in front and a 275mm single disc at the rear with ABS. On top of this, the 41mm upside-down front forks and mono-shock single-sided multi-link suspension at the rear enhance stability and rigidity.
2020 SYM VF3i Limited Edition
MForce Bike Holdings also presented the latest SYM VF3i Limited Edition with ABS alongside the Maxsym TL500. According to Mr. Asri Ahmad, General Manager of Operations MForce Bike Holdings; the SYM VF3i LE is upgraded from the previous version based on the feedback and comments from local motorcycle owners and enthusiasts.
The new 2020 SYM VF3i LE Limited Edition would be launched to the local market in May 2020. Being a limited-run model, the bike comes in an exclusive colour scheme; “Matt Black” with green accents. As for the price, Mforce announced that the bike would go on sale for RM9,338.00 and only 5,000 units of these would be produced. Furthermore, Mforce is also offering a two-year manufacturer or 20,000 kilometers of mileage warranty (whichever comes first) for this model.

The new version offers a more powerful engine through several upgrades in the engine components. Among many factory upgrades; the 30mm throttle body, upgraded crankshaft, cams and exhaust enhance the performance of the bike. The 183cc four-stroke engine mated to a six-speed transmission puts out 19.7 hp at 9,000 rpm and 17.4 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. On top of this, this fuel injection engine is also EURO 3 compliant!
From the appearance, bright DRL and LED rear lamp have been improved for safety purpose. SYM VF3i LE now comes with new stylish design speedometer with a combination of; engine oil check, engine temperature, clock battery power and the ABS system. Besides that, the new version of SYM VF3i LE has equipped with Aerodynamic windshield design which helps to reduce wind resistance and improve balance while riding.
Braking on this new SYM VF3i Limited Edition is completed with ABS system with discs front and rear; a single 250 mm diameter disc in front and single 200 mm disc at the back; mounted on 17-inch wheels shod in 90/80 and 120/70 tyres, front and rear respectively. Weight is claimed to be 124 kg and fuel is carried in a 7-litre tank under the seat; which is currently the biggest fuel tank for kapcai category.
